Hesla Gård (Farm) is so charming. There has been great care in preserving the historic buildings, the lodging is clean and very comfortable, and the inn hosts are wonderful. Easy walk to town (10 min) and to local sites, such as the Gol Church, and to hiking trails. I look forward to my next visit!

The location was perfect for our destination surrounded They have hotel room and cabins, make secure you specify or look wich you want in your reservation . They also have camping area, They also have restaurant in place with menu that changes daily. And with cold temperatures you’re unable to change the temperature in the room.

Great little spot for hikers and bikers who are passing through and need a warm meal and a bit of comfort. Warm, friendly environment and terrific food and drink. Good conversation with fellow cyclists was also great.

Beautiful lakeside setting we wish we could have enjoyed longer. Staff member reached out to us when we were running late from a mountain hike and made arrival easy for us. Friendly cat brought us a "gift" after we arrived and kept the vermin away while we slept. Most excellent breakfast in the morning was a classic spread of Scandinavian "bread," which is bread, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, and much more, all serviced in the dining room with a view of the lake.

Excellent stay

Excellent location, right off of Highway 7. The campground and the cabins are very well maintained and very comfortable. The bathrooms and shower stalls were very clean. The shared kitchen had most of the things one may need. Overall a great experience and value for money.
