Last-minute hotel deals in Matagorda

This is an incredibly unique property. I happened to be there at probably the worst time of the year--not, unfortunately on vacation, but rather for business, but still found the experience very positive. The staff at this place is the best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. We were tired of the travel but since the moment we walked in .Esteban made it all better with his enthusiasm, smile and lightness . On Day 2 we had a little issue with our key and the maintenance man let us in our room and took care of the issue himself and brought us our keys fixed . We were literally treated like royalty. Everything was good but the pool was very dirty

nothing unique; dislikes-eggs made with picante - couldn't eat; no chocolate milk; a/c heat confusing; shower cuttain didn't fit; no local newspaper;

We only stayed here for one night but everthing was terrific. We will stay here the next time we go to Matagorda Texas to the Beach.

Property was clean and appeared to have been updated not long ago. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on things to do. I liked the pavilions out back with the tables and chairs. Would have been a great place to bbq for the evening if it hadn’t been so dangled hot.
