The garden area outside our room needed attention badly!! I imagine they have been concentrating on the new area that I hear recently opened! The staff, especially the Manager Josh were amazing!! I actually thought he owned the place! He was everywhere! I would definitely stay there again! I wish they did have Netflix or Prime though.

The Crown is a lovely historical building that has a fantastic pub and several rooms. The rooms are large and have comfy beds. The staff are particularly helpful, kind, patient and very accommodating. It is conveniently situated in the beautiful Cotswolds and there are bus stops in town that have buses to many other local villages. I would definitely come back!

The only reason I am not rating excellent is the laundry machine is wash only. Worked out for me as I had time to air dry. The location is fantastic if you use the train. Easy in and out. Great stay.

From arrival everything was excellent. The manicured gardens, the personal reception by the General Manager, the common areas, our room ... Then came dinner ... and breakfast ... and tea ... everything superb.
We are well travelled. We have been in several countries of South America, Central and North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and in very good hotels. Buckland Manor is among the very best.

The staff was informative and welcoming and the room was spotless with a lovely bathroom, coffee, tea, biscuits, and milk. The linens were crisp, cool, and luxurious with a comforter that was cozy and warm. Each bed had two pillows that gave me the best sleep I have had in a long time. My husband and I ordered the continental breakfast and found it very delicious and satisfying. The Greek yogurt was thick and pillowy, and the fruit was very fresh and sweet. My husband enjoyed the flavored yogurt...
