The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Loved our stay here! When we arrived Sam, at the front desk, helped us get settled straight away. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station but you cannot hear trains pass. We got a room over looking the river which was very relaxing. The breakfast, which was included, was great!

Beautiful location with wonderful views. The swimming 'pond' was a lovely surprise. There is no airconditioning, which another reveiw mentioned, but as you are high in the mountains, the air cools in the evening so sleeping is not a problem. We stayed to visit The Eagles Nest, which is an easy 20 mins drive. All staff were very freindly, breakfast was wonderful. Wunderschöne Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht. Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend to others!

We came here to do a little business and see our friends in Salzburg. It had a 10 out of 10 rating and it does NOT disappoint. It has a nice little gym, a pool that when empty is a fine lap pool and an outdoor jacuzzi with amazing hiking trails and views of the mountains . I wish we had time to get a massage or other services but too busy and chose the electric bikes instead. You can even bike into the town of Bad Reichenhall which has great shopping (Juhausz!)…. Love this place.

Our stay from 17-20 May 2015 at the Schloss Hotel in Salzburg, Austria, was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so beautiful and picturesque. The best breakfast we had in our three weeks in Europe!

This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.
