Such a cute place, well decorated and great location. The two bedroom suite with kitchen was very spacious with all the amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my third time staying at The Grand Monarque. The location is excellent, bathroom and amenities great, good bed and sheets, friendly staff and lovely restaurant in an atrium. The breakfast is excellent, and I had lunch at the one star restaurant in the hotel which I never realized was there. It was superb! I think the decor in the halls should be updated. They give the wrong impression of the hotel. Other than that, I love it.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nicely designed. Big breakfast area. Very nice water dispenser in the lobby which was so convenient as we were there during a heatwave!

We love how convenient the system is, great check in process and note prior to arrival with code to get into parking lot. You get one code that works for your room, parking and front door. No keys to return. So simple! Love it!

All good nice convenient

Stayed one night to explore Chartres Cathedral and couldn't have been happier with my stay. The hotel was a short walk from the train station and easy to find. The front desk staff were very helpful, from arranging for dinner to helping with the very European elevator (!) to storing my luggage the next morning. The location of the hotel couldn't be more convenient to the Chartres Cathedral, the main attraction in town. And the view of the Cathedral from the hotel is magnificent! Make sure to ask...

The accommodations are simple but very clean and had everything we needed. Great part of town for walking to everything. The wifi connection was outstanding!

It is my understanding that the hotel itself is managed by a family. Having stated this I can easily convey how great the customer service is. The staff is very friendly and willing to please. All of the staff speak English quite well which was a comfort to me since I have not studied any French in the past. The room itself was spacious for just myself and a double bed. The shower in the bathroom was extraordinary with the multiple messaging shower heads! It goes without saying that everything...
