Amazing location and staff. Room was small but typical for Europe. The only reason I gave 4* to comfort was because there is no elevator and 1 of the footboards wasn’t attached. Pack light because the stairs are fairly steep and they are a spiral. Otherwise, this place is amazing and I wouldn’t have any reason to choose another hotel on my next visit. We stayed one night in this charming hotel that was once a barn, and is now furnished with a midcentury vibe. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, nor did we have the breakfast so can't speak to that. Everyone we encountered on the staff was extremely friendly and kind. The location was great. An easy, quick walk into town, but far enough away from the center of things that it was quiet at night. We had a rental car and appreciated the easy parking right on site. Highly recommend. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was clean and I enjoyed having a fan in the room.

In times of COVID Novotel really took care of their guests. I felt that the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was really amazing and they require that you sanitize and put on gloves provided at the entrance before you go into the food and drink area which made me feel comfortable with the self serve options.

We have a lovely stay at Bischofshof Braustuben. It’s an easy 15 minute walk from the Regensburg historic center. The staff was absolutely wonderful, not only pleasant to deal with but also very helpful when a repair was needed in our room. We also appreciated fabulous breakfast menu and having the restaurant/pub downstairs.
