The people running the hotel are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. The hotel itself is older and the room was small but it was also inexpensive. They ask us not to flush the toilet or shower after 10pm, because the plumbing is old, but it is disclosured up front. The town is nice and the area beautiful. We hiked a lot.

Great find on Expedia while looking for a night's rest on my way home from Geneva to Moncrabeau in Lot-et-Garonne. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and more than adequate for an overnight. Blackout shutters Lovely quiet village with a view from my room overlooking Lake Aydat. Marco, the owner is delightful and also owns the restaurant across the road, La Cocotte Bleu. Delicious food with 3 courses for 25 Euros for dinner and exellent service. The WiFi could do with an upgrade at the...

A lot of old family run chateau are old and substandard, poor electrics, sparse hot water, weird owners...the Fawlty Towers experience. Not here. The decoration is beautiful, the bathrooms modern, hot water plentiful, breakfast replete with locally sourced produce served with a smile. We stayed a night, could've stayed a week.
