Last-minute hotel deals in Vimmerby

This is a darling hotel, with the restaurant being the highlight. The room was tiny but perfectly adequate for our needs, and was clean and bright. Check in isn’t until 4 pm so don’t come early (though they will hold your luggage while you do something else.) Breakfast was nice as well.

Best hotel we stayed in all of Sweden. Super kid friendly with outdoor playground, mini-golf, water-play, and indoor play area and movie night. Rooms were great and infused with character. Hotel lobby areas were very welcoming with lots of seating and areas to hang out. Staff was quite friendly in general and the breakfast buffet was decent. Best part was the location which was only a 10 min drive from Astrid Lindgren's World and even closer to the cute central square of Vimmerby.

We stayed in a large family room with a queen bed and bunkbeds, with a separate living area and kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Close to center of town - able to walk to restaurants and shops. Easy access to Småland and glassworks (about 1.5 hrs). Kind and helpful staff.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was with the Palace Hotell. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the rooms and hotel were gorgeous. Dinner and breakfast are included and the food was absolutely incredible. They even provided gluten free bread for my breakfast, knowing I had asked about dinner and if it was gluten free. I hope I can come stay again, every hotel should look to their example.

Beautiful place, lovely room, great views, quiet and delicious restaurant- parking can be difficult or far away so book early if you don’t want to walk or haul your bags 15 minutes away.

Nice B&B, anytime again

Fun property but getting check in info required multiple calls, emails, and eventually Hotels.com intervention. Shouldn't be that much work by the guests to confirm check in and get a door code.

Good location great breakfast

Cozy hotel with the big room. They offer dinner free of charge as well.
