The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Lovely house on the side of the hill. Just three rooms. We were very well fed and very well taken care of by the owner and her family. I loved being able to sit out and look at the mountains and hear the river down below. Very hard to find though. Make an effort to be sure you have clear specific directions to the house before you arrive.

Unique stay, spacious, with everything and clean. Very quiet, away from town and busy roads, and still close to Gavarnie and others. We loved it. Not for handicapped persons.

The property is located on the hillside above Argeles-Gazost. Quiet, serene beauty surrounds you. The rooms are lovely. The amenities include a lap-pool, hot-tub, and sauna. The host, Anne, takes loving care of her guests….Individually cooked breakfast, assistance with dinner reservations, recommendations of local sites to see, and a truly delightful person! Don’t doubt her suggestions — we thoroughly enjoyed everything she encouraged us to try or do!

Difficult to find hotel from nearby in town. Lovely room, nice view from balcony, staff very friendly. Easy walk to centre ville. Only comment about room is shower curtain or barrier would be helpful, but otherwise room and b bathroom were lovely.

All hotels was fully booked in Pau, found this nice hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Stayed for 5 nights. Basic but very clean rooms, good wi-fi and work desk allowed for effective work at the hotel.

The room was very clean, the staff was so friendly, and we had a great stay! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Super clean and cozy apartment and very well equipped. The owners, a married couple, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great as well. The whole place is cozy and friendly. Also close enough to the ski resort. Definitely will be coming back here! A lot of care has been put into this place. So glad we stayed here!

Amazing beautiful hotel. Modern yet historic. I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff was super friendly and spoke English and other languages. This is a must see in the Pyrenees.
