Last-minute hotel deals in La Palma

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was wonderful—the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great!, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to install blackout curtains in the rooms.

We loved our stay at the Hacienda. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and grounds beautiful. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The hotel overall is nice, parking can be an issue though and there's no mini fridge in the room to keep items cold. The staff overall was very good especially the two ladies that run the cafe who i recommend you tip and the reception desk Fernanado, and Lorimer who also suggested a decent low cost seafood restaurant called Varadero in Puerto Tazacorte. I woke recommend this place the breakfast was very good although the choices are not quite as numerous as very big hotels.

The hotel is located in a beautifully designed garden with tropical flora, close to a nice natural beach. It consists of several buildings mimicking original local architecture.The rooms are furnishded and decorated in a tasty manner. The inhabitants can use a spacious swiimming pool located in the centre of the garden. Concerts of classical music three times a week. A small kitchen in each appartment helps to families with children. Close to the airport. A great value for the money.

I chose El Galeón due to it's proximity to town, as well as Playa Bajamar. Plus, it wanted to have free parking included and access to laundry facilities. Check-in was simple and incredibly fast. My room was ready when I arrived and it was in immaculate condition. I enjoyed dining on the extensive balcony with views out over the port. (I thought there would be alot of noise from the port, but there wasn't - probably one of the cleanest and quietest ports I've seen, given it's size)...
