Lovely place to stay if ever in Margate! Place is quite charming and has lots of Character. I'd highly recommend it and also would definitely stay here again!

This is really lovely B&B, it's beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the staff are really friendly. It's in a great location, with beautiful seaviews, away from the noise of the main seafront area. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection to choose from. I cannot recommend it enough, we hope to go back very soon.

The host Alex is a great all around person. He greeted me and walked the property with me. In addition, he provided me with great information about the Dover Castle and how to reach it. The castle is conveniently located a 20 minute uphill walk from the house. Another great convenient item is the Train station is an easy 20 minute walk through the city center. I highly recommend the Church Hill House. Also, Alex cooks a great breakfast.

Truly a unique hotel room - the exposed timbers from the 16th century were so amazing! The stairs to the attic room (where we stayed) were uneven and interesting, but not difficult to navigate as long as you are not disabled. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the air conditioning was very appreciated.

Lovely charming hotel! Well designed, laid back but with sophistication. My room had a street view not ocean view but my morning bed was filled with sunshine. ☀️

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff understands hospitality and will make you feel right at home. Our room was clean and spacious as well as extremely comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Dover

The staff is utterly amazing! Everyone is wonderful, helpful and the food is terrific. If I ever go to England again I would stay without any reservation! American friendly despite it President!
