While the property is a little older, the owners place a lot of care and pride into it. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are extremely clean and cozy. A cute home away from home.

The outside of the building could use a wipe down. There was a lot of dust and spiderwebs. The inside was clean, it would be nice for the outside to be clean also.

Nice place overall. It’s very quiet, cozy, and comfortable. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, and overall it was not bad. The only downside was that there was a bathroom belonging to another room right behind the door of my room. Unfortunately, I could hear pretty much everything whenever they went to used it, which was uncomfortable. What a great location! The rooms are clean and comfortable as well as updated. The use of the bikes was nice, as was the area where the fire pit was. We really felt like we got more than we expected while also feeling that we got a great value at this property. Would definitely stay there again and if you’re not looking for anything fancy, then this will more than fit the bill.

I booked this hotel based on location, proximity to the ocean, and what appeared to be a fun attitude. Restricting guests to those over 18 years old played a part, as well. The Salt Hotel isn't fancy but it is clean and quiet. My wife and I enjoyed a couple nights here. She spent the day around the hotel which overlooks the port of Ilwaco. The owner and staff were polite and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. We hope to go back again soon.

This property is perfect for a beachside trip. Saltwater pool was the perfect temp along with the barrel style saunas! Front desk staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. I recommend utilizing the bikes that are available for guests. Bathroom was a tad bit small, toilet a bit too close to the wall but other than that the room was perfect for our needs. Box fan came in clutch for the breeze!

Let’s just say this place is far from perfect. The potential for the property to be in really good shape is there, but I’m sure there’s only one maintenance person available to do all the work for that entire property. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on in my life and it was broken. Since I an 80 and have some balance issues and I was concerned about the 20 steps. Steps are well lighted with handrails, no problems. Everything on the website is accurate. Great experience

Beautiful room and view. Front desk extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast included delicious pastries from local bakery.
