Last-minute hotel deals in Hays

Staff were friendly and attentive. Greeted each time I entered the hotel. Housekeeping was extremely helpful and wonderful. Any requests wrre met quickly and with a smile.

The property takes you back in time to the turn of the 19th century. Stairs and floors creak with character, the stairs and banister are a reminder of grandparent's home as I grew up. The breakfast was personally made and it was perfect.

We enjoyed the property, it was clean and easily slept all six of us.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here diving from Kansas to Colorado and we will stay again. Avid is wonderful for the price. The rooms are clean I love that there is no carpet so you know the floors are clean. The breakfast is good and the staff is so friendly.

Really nice hotel. We got in late. The clerk at the front desk was sweet as honey. The hotel looks just like all of the pictures. Swank! Cozy! Clean! Even though it seems mega-grody to even think about someone else - thousands of other people - using the same bedding, the pillows really are the best. You have to trust that they are cleaned properly so as not to worry about it. My ratings are high because I paid a lot and everything looked brand new, I saw nothing amiss. Pool and hot tub were in working condition - a little on the old side. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Friendly environment. Good, hot breakfast selection. Would stay there again.

This place is amazing, truly. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was it smelt amazing, refreshing, and CLEAN. The young gentleman who checked me in was friendly, prompt, knew what he was doing, informative and just all around a pleasure to interact with! walked into my room and felt good about staying here. Very clean and a great breakfast! Great value for the price

The room & lobby were exceptionally clean. Surprised that I received cleaning services 4 out of my 5 night stay. Also pleased that shampoo/ conditioner were dispensed in the shower so no useless plastic bottles that get 1/2 used & thrown away. Great water pressure, comfortable bed, fast internet. Courteous competent staff.

Such a nice warm welcome. Quick check in. Friendly staff. Nice pool & great grassy areas to walk the dog in. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing fresh cinnamon rolls , eggs , sausage, biscuits & gravy. Been on the road for 3 days . Best place we found to stay. Would definitely recommend

Cost is always a criteria for me. Motels in Hays that were safe, inexpensive, (less than $100) and clean were over $200 this weekend because of graduations. I was forced to travel 22 miles to Ellis to find an affordable room. The only drawback, the shower didn't drain. Other than that, it was convenient to the interstate and fast food. I will stay again, I think I will no longer stay in Hays. Hays has become too crowded and busy.

Comfortable room with good bed, TV, and location. Two convenience stores and restaurants within 1/10th of mile. Room was clean and everything worked well. Despite being close to interstate, it was a quiet location.
