Made a trip to Nac because the Jaycees still celebrated America, with a fireworks show on July 4th! Too many Texas cities cancelled to cater to an agenda. I called the Fredonia, asking if they had rooms that I could see the fireworks and they took care of me! The room on the 6th floor of the tower was perfect! This was an overall great stay and experience. The bed was very comfortable and my room was clean. I was skeptical at first when but when I arrived the building, the location, and room was very satisfactory. I will definitely add this hotel to my list of places to stay in Nacogdoches. The breakfast was nice as well, a variety of options. If I had a complaint it was a smell that lingered in the halls for a little while and the hotel receptionist didn’t greet upon my entering the establishment. As...

Great hotel. The free buffet breakfast makes it worth the price, which is a little higher than the surrounding hotels (especially when you are feeding a family of 4).

EXCELLENT! Even staying in the middle of a pandemic.. they were so accommodating! Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was wonderful. Will stay here every time we visit Lufkin!

Quiet, safe, and clean with a comfortable bed. Good sized mini fridge with a separate freezer that was almost the same size, not just a tiny ice shelf at the top of the fridge like in most motels. Very dog-friendly and has a good sized grassy hill at the back of the motel with pine trees that made for a great doggy bathroom - very clean area, seems like everyone picks up after their dogs. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Hallways were a little dingy, but not terrible. Several of the lights in the stairwells and halls were flickering. Room was clean. Bathroom had loose tiles and low water pressure. Price was really good.

Very excellent customer service. Upon check in, I was greeted warmly by name, directed to our room. She thoroughly explained all the amenities regarding use of the pool, gym, and where breakfast would be waiting for me when we woke up. Everything was very clean and well put together, right down to the elegantly beautiful folded towels in our bathroom. We had a very quiet nights sleep... it felt like we were the only ones there. We were well rested after the long drive and ready to continue on...

My room was clean, the A/C worked well (very important in Texas), and the staff members were friendly. No frills, but perfectly suitable place to spend a night or two.

We were just passing throught on an 8 hour trip for our vacation and selected this hotel due to rates and reviews. We were extremely impressed by the room. We were not expecting the size of the room to be so big. It had a sitting area as well as the 2 beds. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities as promised. We ate the breakfast and there was plenty of good quality food and a wide selection. We will definitely use this place again if we are travelling through the area.
