My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Monte da Urze. The breakfast was fantastic, spacious and clean rooms, and the countryside was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay while exploring the nearby coastline.

The staff were so friendly, responsive and kind. We cannot say enough about them. One of our crew dropped their passport in a small town on one of the days we were out and about - creating a very stressful experience. The people all around us during this event were so concerned and helped us to call local police departments to locate it. We were so grateful. While extremely elegant, the vibe is welcoming. Nice room and breakfast

Awesome with large rooms with kitchenettes, and powerful hot showers. Very clean. Desk staff not so friendly & we had to wait on our riom but other staff great. There is a pool but it was raining when we were there, so we did not use. Fantastic breakfast with breads, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, corn flakes, meats, cheese, yogurt, & coffee or tea. You certainly did not leave hungry. Great location next to a hige supermarket and a short walk to many restaurants.

Location was amazing. We were able to walk to great restaurants and shopping as well as many of the attractions.

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

Room was nice though a little small. Also had a terrace with 2 loungers. Bathroom floor was heated. Access to free bikes to ride up the coast was great. Easy access to a great secluded beach that you roped down to was unique. Nice pool. Really cool vegetable garden where you could eat tomatoes off the vine and pick a watermelon to eat. Also could get leaves from vegetable garden to go feed the goats and Violet (the donkey). Goats always happy to see us. Violet sometimes was in a mood but...

Walking distance to everything and bikes to use for free.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Good location. I had problems with the bathroom. Very bad design of the shower . While i was taking shower the water was simply going directly in the midle of the room !!! It could be be fixed very fast and very cheap. I couldn t understand why it wasn t done ????!!!!!. Shower needs a small shelf for cosmetics. Toilet wasn t phonic isolated from the main room. Overall very bad design of the room.

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast

This is a great place to stay! The owners and staff are very caring and guest oriented. Would love to come back for a longer stay.
