NICE clean furnished apartment. Comfortable, spacious with settee and two club chairs, kitchen table for four, desk and chair. Full refrigerator, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Everything was newer. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I booked through Expedia. Great value for the price. Parap is a good safe location. Cafe's, chemist, shops within 2 blocks. Museums, botanical gardens, waterfront accessible by car. Darwin is not that big. If you stay in the CBD those tourist attractions...

I really enjoyed the hotel. They had great facilities and comfy clean rooms. The pool was beautiful and the people were very helpful and nice. I'd never heard of Rydges before, but I would definitely stay at one in the future.

Great location

Newly remodeled interior was much more luxurious than I was expecting. Convenient location at one end of the Esplanade with lovely service.

I stayed for just a night. Part of the hotel was under the construction. I'm sure that's done by now. Room was cozy and nice right next to the main Park in downtown Darwin.

Very clean room. Staff were helpful. Continental breakfast was good and included. You have the option for a regular full breakfast with only $10 surcharge. Pool is small.

It is just a few miles north of the airport in Darwin and very easy to get to from the airport. I was concerned because we were arriving at 10pm and i was renting a car, driving on the left side for the first time in 20 years and had no idea where it was. leaving the airport it was just a right and a left onto Lee point and then just a couple miles straight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable to relax in. Pool was great. Enjoyed our complimentary breakfast buffet. Overall the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location for taking a walk around town and waterfront.

2 adults, 2 good beds, and cooking supplies and frig for light meals. 1/2 block to WWII oil storage tanks museum. Small pool /sunbathing area fenced in. At opposite end of the block connected with hotel there is an ATM, a great little coffee shop, and an elevator which takes you up to easy access to a walking tour of the Darwin CBD. The hotel is in the center of the city closed to everything and safe. We were luck out with the ocean view in our room. We watched the beautiful sunrise in our room.
