Lovely staff, lovely pool area (a bit cold, but it is October), comfortable bed with good sheets and duvet. Would def stay again!

Very efficient and friendly young staff. Always eager to help. Breakfast was great. Two nice swimming pool. Everything is in good condition (gardens) and it is obvious that they take good care of the property. Location is outside of the city (5-10mn drive) a bit too close to the main road and a bit far from the beaches (but they have their own private beach 20-30mn from the hotel).

We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port.

Such a lovely stay! This small adults only hotel, just 5 rooms, is on the owner Anne's property, new and beautifully designed and maintained. They've recently added a gym, yoga area, sauna and steam room which we enjoyed very much. Anne and her team seemed to have a 6th sense whenever we needed something and were always there to help. Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! Reception was also able to arrange a last-minute taxi/driver for us to go to...

Overall, this was an impressive and very comfortable stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room was spotless, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel’s central location was also extremely convenient. The gym was small and quite hot, but I still appreciated having one available. There are a few areas that could be improved. It was unusual that the lobby was only accessible during limited morning and afternoon hours and then closed completely, leaving no shared...

The staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They had no problem switching our rooms, getting our laundry done (folded and delivered to our room), changing rooms and moving our belongings . Nathalie and Marie were just great help! The hotel has exceptional views from the rooms facing the ocean. It is located approx 6-10 minutes from old town.
