Last-minute hotel deals in Coventry

Nicely done conversion to a hotel from the old Coventry Telegraph building. They kept a lot of the memorabilia and feel from when it housed the newspaper. Room was a great size with a quite small but lovely bathroom.

The rooms were spacious, quiet - the housekeeping did a fantastic job Iustina and George at the restaurant/bar very helpful centrally located super close to the train station. It’s a shame the restaurant closes the kitchen at 9 but other than that all was great !

Great stay. Nice sized room, Lots of parking, Great breakfast. It is at the university, so lets food options in walking distance. Could use laundry facilities.

Decent room and breakfast.

Everything was just as described in the photos and description. The host was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the room clean, the shower fantastic. It's as close to the University of Warwick as you can get. Rideshare was no problem, bus was a few minutes of a walk away. We highly recommend.

I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices. We were amazed by the old fireplace in the sitting room, part of one of the old City gates.

I stayed here as I had an event I was going to at the CBS Arena and I could literally walk there from where I was, so it was perfectly situated for me. The apartment had everything I needed. The apartment did have a standing fan, although I did take 2 extra little portable bedside fans as the weather was particularly hot. The only suggestions I have is that there could be a better mirror or lighted up mirror for doing make-up. I would also prefer curtains to the blinds as these did keep banging...

Easy reach of M6, 10min drive fyom Coombe Abbey where we went to an event, definattly would recommend hotel, reasonably priced!

We were made to feel genuinely welcome, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining the property....

Great staff and comfortable rooms. Bathroom was a bit bare bones with no shelves etc. bar and restaurant are well priced and community is very nice as well.
