Best place we have ever stayed at in the area. Very friendly staff, great room.

Best part is the oceanfront with private beach front and the ocean so close. It’s a simple and classy hotel. The Lavazza coffee machine was perfect for my early mornings outside my hotel door. We would go again

My husband and I have stayed at the pelican Post many times but this was our first visit after hurricane Helene and Milton. We were SO HAPPY to see that the hotel look just as good as it did before! The booking process was smooth and thanks to the girl who checked us in, our stay was made even better! She was very sweet and welcomed us back as returning customers! Our interaction with her was wonderful, so if you are reading this Janelle, thanks again – you’re the best! And kudos to the owners...

The place was just as listed. Dan and Amy were amazing and accommodating to all our needs. Answered any question we had prior to arrival and during our stay. Housekeeping was spot on with new beach and shower towels each day along with emptying our garbage each day. The location was spectacular. Easy access to the beach with lounge chairs and if you didn’t want to be at the beach just hang by the pool. Clean kitchenette with a coffee maker, stove top and microwave. Great location. Room rate was a bargain even for first week of local offseason. No hassle walk from room to a nice beach in 5-10 steps. Great island for a long weekend unwind. Room was newly renovated and clean. Excellent find.

This is by far the most spacious and clean hotel room I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable and welcoming. The staff was fabulous. The pool area was very nice we really enjoyed the heated salt water pool. Der Dutchman restaurant was conveniently located (a 1-2 minute walk) and had delicious food. We will definitely stay here again! 😊

We had a great time, the building looks brand new and our micro efficiency was all we needed for a quick 3 day stay. We spent our days at the pool which has great patio furniture and huge umbrellas. Everything was clean and beautiful, at night we took advantage of the games in the courtyard. Fantastic amenities. Pool with cabanas and plentiful outdoor seating we’re superb. Great fire pit and grills too. Proximity to a Nathan Benderson park was a major plus, the couple of minutes walk to the park was great. Provided a great option for early morning walk or jog in a gorgeous setting. Plus loved that there were nearby food and shopping options. Only drawback about a 30 minutes drive to Siesta Key or Lido beaches.

Location, close to the beach. Great service and food at the hotel area. Close to restaurants and shopping center.

I loved the room and I loved my stay. The plumeria room was great and the patio was ginormous. I'll be back, and when I do I plan on trying a new room option each time.

It was extremely clean, food was delish and the beach was beautiful! Can’t wait to come back with the kiddos !

Love the kitchenette in the room. There was option to ask for portable cooktop which we didn’t have time to do but good to know for future stays.

Great location! Private beach access with lounge chairs and umbrellas included. Spacious beautifully decorated rooms with very comfortable beds. Full kitchen and plenty of parking. It was perfect in every way and made the stay that much better. You can not say enough about the beach being just outside your door.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Checking in was a breeze. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking and just enough space for two people. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Very home-like feeling. The room was a very nice stroll away from Siesta Key beach which is so lovely. There is a heated pool which was very nice when it was windy outside. All in all, it is a great place to stay for a relaxing time. Small grocery, restaurant and bar all in walking distance.

When my grandma and I first came we were greeted when we went to check in with free drinks and then room service always ensured we had water. Property has free taxi rides that work on tips. Bikes, beach chairs, beach loungers, umbrella. I think the only thing I wish the hotel had would be more food options at 82 degrees restaurant other than that the staff was super friendly and we would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to our family and friends.

Great place to stay close to the beach. The apartment is fully equipped, very clean, new appliances. Excellent communication! I definitely recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.
