Spring break hotels in Algarve

Joana was great at check in and booked a wine tasting for us. Everyone was so wonderful!

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast

This hotel was wonderful !! The property is gorgeous and the beach is stunning! The hotel is very well kept, super clean, and well organized. The restaurants are great. Breakfast buffet was great options and quality and dinner options were amazing. Cocktails are the best! Properly made not just syrup. The pools were clean and actually heated. My kids loved playing. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

this is the 5th time that we stayed at Vilalara...this says something. We come here for the fantastic Thalasso spa and its great staff (multi lingual and so friendly), the most beautiful settings, the most unique gardens, the six pools, the direct access to their wonderful beach and also the location (easy to to reach). The building has a lot of charm. Plants, flowers and classic Portuguese interior design. It feels you are in a farmhouse, not in a hotel. The breakfast was great with so many options. The attic room where we stayed was so spacious, with a huge bathroom and a private terrace. I'd point out that they gave us combined twin beds and not a queen/king bad, which wasn't ideal. Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

The room was very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Staff were more than helpful and did their utmost to ensure a comfortable stay. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.

Beautiful modern property with minimalist decor in soft natural colors. Rooms well appointed with robes, slippers, toiletries. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and with enough variety to not eat the same thing every day. Champaign was a nice touch. Pools are awesome and the noon water aerobics was great.
