Spring break hotels in Karlstad

Great location, staff and experience overall! Excellent onsite restaurants. 10 out of 10 recommend! Parking is a bit of an issue because of ongoing road construction, but not the hotel’s fault.

It's a historic hotel, but has been carefully renovated and modernized. Loved the included dinner in addition to breakfast. Only negative was the ongoing railroad improvements construction across the street, but hopefully that will be concluded soon.

The hotel seems large and a bit of a maze, but we liked our room, especially with a little balcony to look over the river. The hotel is very nicely situated, right by the river with plenty of walking opportunities nearby. The breakfast had a huge variety as well. The fitness center was a bit cramped unfortunately with limited though decent equipment. Make sure to pre-book parking if needed, though we used an offsite lot and that worked fine. The spa seemed to be busy but we weren’t able to check...

Situated directly in the Arena. No reception whatsoever but automated checkin system was very easy. Breakfast was also very good.

Everything is excellent! Room is modern and spacious. Breakfast is adequate. It’s a family owned hotel. Owners are very friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed only one night on our way to Oslo. We arrived late and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small with bunk beds for our teens and a queen. It was tight but very clean and comfortable.
