It’s very clean and huge room. It’s a walking distance to everything. Staff members are very pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice room with excellent firm beds in this extremely well-located hotel. Breakfast offerings (including gluten-free bread on request) were varied and very tasty. Effective AC even on some hot days. Only hitch: the bathroom fan turns itself on and off automatically with no manual control, and it took a while to figure out the rules for that.

Nice modern hotel which once an insurance company. So you have the feel of staying in an historic hotels with modern amenities.

Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend to others!

A lovely boutique hotel with friendly service in the heart of Saltzburg. The gentlemen who checked us in was wonderful, provided recommendations for places to go, allowed me to borrow a phone charger overnight since we didn’t plan on staying, breakfast and cappuccino were perfect. I would absolutely stay again!

Amazing staff, very friendly and family owned hotel!! Because it’s family owned, it has working hours. BE SURE TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 3PM - 7:59PM (5 hour window). There will be nobody there after hours, and if you’re arrive late, you have to give them a heads up a few hours ahead. Excellent service and property

I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

Beautiful property. Awesome location. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff great too. We had a problem with our first room. They tried to fix the tv and couldn’t, so they moved us to an upgraded room. However, when we got to that room- immediately we can hear the toilet running. So we say thanks but no. Emma, at reception, was fantastic.
