The room was very spacious and beautiful! The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. So quiet; views of the Loire River. A lovely little town. Very welcoming.

Manoir de Basses Rivieres is a hidden gem! The property is lovely, beautifully maintained, serene, and fascinating. Be sure to explore all of the caves which are on the grounds, which have been utilized since Troglodytes lived in this area. Guillaume and Arthur are gracious hosts, and the rooms are elegantly and thoughtfully appointed. Unbelievably perfect place to stay! Note: Be sure to reach out to them directly before your arrival, as accessing the hotel is a bit tricky.

Exquisite property in the perfect neighborhood. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away from the train station to be quiet. Across the street from the fabulous Les Halle market. The staff were delightful. We can highly recommend that you stay at Les Tresorieres!

This is a 4-5 unit B&B just north of Tours, convenient for visiting several of the major chateaus in the Loire valley...we visited Ambois, Blois and Chambord. The property dates from the Ninth Century and sits next to a "rock" that has passage ways inside leading to a swimming pool area 25 steps up with 10 mile views of the surrounding area. Four of the units are in a wonderfully repurposed stable, with squeaky floors, overhead pegged beams, modern beds and en-suite bathrooms, and tons of...

What a delightful experience! We decided to splurge and stay in a Château since we were going to the Loire Valley, and were so glad we did! Our room was in one of the cottages, so it was quiet and felt like we had our own house. The breakfast at the Château was wonderful, particularly for the view. Outstanding service as well! Great proximity to Tours and the chateaux.

This was a very nice hotel in a convenient area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so travelling with large luggage may be inconvenient with the stairs bit I did see hotel staff providing assistance with baggage. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be in walking distance of the city center.

Great location near many excellent restaurants and near the river. Olivier, the owner made us feel so welcome and assisted us with recommendations about the area. The bathroom is new, with high-end finishes, and the bed and linens were cozy and comfortable.
