What a beautiful place. Our room was well appointedl with all amenities, including a hot tub on the porch. The staff was helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. From the hotel it's a short walk to restaurants and the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Elounda Mare is an absolute gem. Hidden in the Elounda hillside as if the hotel grew out of the landscape and with a sweeping view of a cerulean blue bay, this is a hotel to be reckoned with. The Chateau & Relais association is earned here as the level of service is truly 5 star. We stayed at Istron Collection Villas in September 2026, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Perfect place to stay in Agios! Right on the water walkable to the lake and tons of restaurants but a little more on the outskirts of the chaos. The staff are what make this place- they are truly all amazing and go above and beyond. We had a spa suite with a hot tub and just a regular ocean view room- nice room but I think you actually get a better view in the regular rooms. The Villas are multiroom houses with a private pool for each villa. Our villa had three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large living room/kitchen space. It included a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The unit was stone and tile floor, immaculately clean with quite comfortable beds. Very nice little property in the heart of Elounda. From our arrival until departure, everyone was welcoming and efficient, especially Maria and Anna. Breakfast is simple but high quality local products. The lady who serve breakfast is flexible and does amazing eggs! We were upgraded to a suite facing the pool for our anniversary.
