“All in all, this is a great hotel, with a tasty breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff, and a lovely feel to the room. Quiet and comfortable, and well placed in the centre of town. All told, it ranks as the best overall experience I’ve had on my long European journey (17 nights).”

“Hotel Uman is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Finland. Nice quiet rooms with all the amenities. Lower level garage is very convenient and safe. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free! The staff is superior---very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Uman is the place to stay in Umeå.”

“Very nice place with plenty of activities available. Sadly during the weekend there were many young people driving in the area with loud music playing all through the night and the cabin had no sound proofing so did not get much sleep.”
