The hotel is in a suburban area 15 km south of Verona. I specifically chose this hotel for the free parking. Safety issue. Free parking is street parking. The staff said it is "tranquil". My car was fine. Internet was free. Breakfast was free and consisted of different types of Italian bread ( so, so taste), two types of cereal.. mediocore, ...not sure if this is just a rare ocassion but the prosciutto, salami and cheese did not arrive until half hour later.,. So, my advise come down at 7:30 am not 7 am! Otherwise, the room was very clean, comfortable, bathroom clean with bidet.

Visted Verona for the night but didn't want to pay crazy downtown prices. We were amazed with Hotel Gelimini. A great 2 star hotel that should be rated as a high 3 star. 10 minutes from Verona; free parking in court yard; friendly family run hotel; the room was very clean and roomy; breakfast was fantastic! Momma's pies were beyond delicious!!!

Traditional family run hotel tucked away just behind the main restaurants fronting the main square. Great for visiting the operas and concerts in the Arena - just a few minutes walk. Breakfasts were particularly good - outside in front of the hotel with Italian life passing by. Staff particularly friendly.

As a solo traveller the hotel was very easy to find if walking from the train station, which took about 20mins. I arrived earlier than the check-in time and this wasn't a problem for the hotel. I was given a map and highlighted all the main attractions of the city to visit. Breakfast (from 7.30am) in my opinion, was excellently presented, with a choice to suit most palates. On departure I was assisted with my bags

Stayed at Hotel Siena for one night in September 2014. Thought it was a good hotel in a great location, 10min walk to central Verona and the arena and 10min walk from the station. Really clean room, lovely and light. Staff really friendly would definitely recommend.

I loved this hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The rooms are great value particularly during the festival season, are airconditioned and most rooms are away from the main road. The hotel is a little way out from the centre but buses are plentiful and taxis inexpensive. The menu for lunch is simple providing good value salads for a few euros.

For the price (Euro 60 for 2 persons in main season), this hotel is unbeatable. Room was large, with air condition and WiFi functioning; matress on the hard side and pillows flat (which I liked both). Breakfast buffet was very good. Person at desk very friendly and competent; she borrowed us even pillows for the opera !! A (non-guarded) parking spot is included for free. Likely not very convenient for non-car travellers. Highly recommended.
