"There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"

"Staff and service great! A little overpriced for the rooms and unless you can book the special rooms the pictures can be deceiving! We were definitely not wowed by our room! Onsens were okay but nothing to brag about! And you have to pay extra to use the onsens … dinner at restaurants was great quality but overpriced! The reviews all show it to be very luxurious but it’s just a normal hotel….staff was very helpful and accommodating but the area is quite boring! "

"Clean modern apartment. Beds were the comfiest I've stayed in whilst in Japan. Very close to sites of Kyoto. Only niggle was no staff around to ask any questions and the spa wasn't included in the price of the room. 8000yen for 90 minutes"

"This hotel was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean with excellent daily service of our room. The 24 hour gym was very good but additional cross trainer machines would have been useful. Great location. The breakfast was extremely good with a wide variety of food. We would highly recommend this hotel."
