Free movies on a big tv. Onsen mens or ladies only spas is fantastic. Clean facility and hot tubs or pools of varying temperatures. We will visit again. Great location above central metro station to easily get around and only 5 stops from Shinkansen train station. "

It was further from all the places we want to explore in Kyoto but it was conveniently located next to Kyoto station so it was still a great location to be able to catch a train around the city to explore. "The Ark hotel is less than 30 metres from Osaka metro Nagahoribashi entry gate 3 and within walking distance of Dotonbori. We found the room comfortable and service extremely good. The breakfast was great too. I would stay here again."

We got a free upgrade to a room with a queen sized bed, which was great since we stayed in Kyoto for five days so having more space made our stay much more comfortable. We also loved that we were less than a 15 minute walk to the downtown shopping area (i.e., Nishiki market, great restaurants, etc.). We had a bus line and a subway station close by, so it was easy to get around Kyoto from the hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. Out of all the budget...
