Great place outside of townPosted Mar 10, 2014
We booked this hotel as we needed an extra couple of nights on our stay and the other hotel we had booked could not accommodate us. Really glad we did as it gave us a chance to stay in this quiet place just outside the main bustle of St Johns. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when I left my sun glasses in one of the taxis. They called them up and arranged for it to come back and drop them off. Outside the hotel you look over McKinnon’s Pond towards the sea and there is a big supermarket nearby if needed so not far from Dickenson Bay or the Cricket Ground (which was why we were there). You can walk into St Johns but you may decide a taxi is a better option (we did). Well worth staying here if you prefer a quieter place to lay your head outside the resort locations.

Good, clean affordablePosted Feb 17, 2014
Anchorage inn is a good little spot in Antigua to spend some time. While it is not the ritz, the rooms are clean, spacious and all seem to have a kitchen. There is an ironing board and of course, cable tv. It is a very good deal for the money.

Helpful in every way.Posted Jan 8, 2013
Location: Not on the beach, but close and had a swimming pool.
The Anchorage In is an older hotel with a Caribbean style. It has a small kitchen if one choses to do meals in the room. Some of the facilities are scheduled for updates. The Anchorage Inn is quiet, away from the noise, clean and is moderately priced. What helped us most was the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff.
