"Pebbles was the perfect getaway, being able to wake-up, sit up in bed and see the sea and hear the waves was fantastic. We were blessed with warm weather so were able to have a BBQ on the patio whilst admiring the views. We had several walks along the beachfront. Folkstone was just a short walk away. Pebbles is so pretty and had everything we required including binoculars to see the ships in the sea - there is a website where you can see the names and destinations of the ships going past...

"Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a small freezer, coffee machine toaster, the host provided tea, coffee pods, hot chocolate and snacks. The host had also left bread and milk for our arrival. "We had a couple of nights to relax and take in the surroundings. Great things to do locally. Cabin is cosy and has good facilities."

Good points: well furnished; great outdoor space with sun for most of the day, including sunsets; good range of outdoor furniture; great bathroom and shower; comfy bed. Points to improve: a few cobwebs which we got rid of on arrival but would not have expected to have to do so; no microwave - one was listed on the vrbo listing; no separate sink in the food prep area - we had to use the bathroom sink - not ideal. The price we paid for this cabin was very reasonable....

"The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special.
