It's not a 5-star resort, but the owners have clearly poured a ton of time and effort into transforming this little old house in a functional, convenient place to stay that's just filled with character. I appreciated all the amenities, the wifi worked flawlessly, and the house was well-stocked with everything we might have needed. Thank you so much for letting us stay there!"

"I was riding from Oklahoma and it started raining in Missouri I called my wife and asked her to find me a hotel after I crossed into Illinois she found this little GEM! I would recommend it quite great food at the Inn, beds were super comfortable. "

"This place was perfect for our Guys Weekend; a getaway for 5 dads in their 40s. And we were very satisfied with all the room to move around and what this house had to offer. It was clean, plenty of seating, a big dining room table, 3 bathrooms, bbq grill, wifi, TV for our weekend sports, and firepit by the lake with great views. Only negatives were that the outside wrap around porch could have used a cleaning, the deck by the lake could use an overhaul, and same with the outdoor furniture. Bring your own outdoor chairs, and forks for eating (kitchen only had 4 forks supplied). Other than that, we enjoyed it and would go back. And FYI, site wasn't clear on sleeping arrangements, there are 2 queen beds in the loft, and 2 bedrooms w/queen beds in the basement. One of our guys slept on an air mattress by choice, instead of a couch, which we had planned before staying."

"Perfect little place to stay when you are on the move! Quiet, clean and suited our needs perfectly. Little fridge, little microwave and one cup coffee maker for convenience since we were on the go and taking our meals out. Clean and comfy and hostess and host were friendly and brought local sweet treats to enjoy. Definitely would stay with them again...suited our needs perfectly! Beautiful country setting and very relaxing!"
