With a large deck overlooking a pond and direct access to Braeutigam Orchards, this cabin is a great place for a family getaway. Braeutigam's has been owned and operated by the same family since 1831, with the sixth, seventh, and eighth generations currently living on the farm. While you are staying in this quiet cabin in the woods, you can purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables and request a tour of the property. Come experience the charm of rural Southwestern Illinois! Located right off of Route 15 and only 10 minutes from Downtown Belleville and 30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis.

Orchard Getaway
We had a wonderfully quiet stay at this cute little cabin nestled in the woods, just off the beaten path of a local orchard. From our deck we could take in nature and see the wildlife coming and going from the quaint pond. It was a much needed break from the city.

Weekend get together
Very happy with the cabin. Nice little find tucked away in the woods. We enjoyed the feel of the cabin and will definitely return if we are in the area again. Plenty of sleeping space, and living space for a weekend. I’d recommend this place for anyone who is traveling through the area and wants to be away from the busyness of the city, but still only have a short drive to the city.

Wonderful!
The stay here was a great experience! It was cozy, warm, and clean! The place was super pretty. Although there were surrounding homes you really felt like you were off on your own in a Forrest. Tom was a wonderful host and went over everything with us. They also have a bakery which was delicious! Be sure to try those apple cider donuts! Thank you so much for the great experience!

The cabin was perfect for my son’s birthday celebration with his friends! The owners are very accommodating and helpful. The pond was great for fishing and the property was beautiful and fun to explore. Would return!!

Beautiful and relaxing
We were looking for the perfect weekend getaway with our 2 young children and this couldn’t have been a better place. Tom was the perfect host and was eager to greet us upon arrival, give a tour and suggestions on dinner places. The farm itself is perfect for families with children, with animals (goats, pigs, etc), sweet treats and apple picking! The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I was also lucky enough to catch a few fish with my girls. Great place we plan to visit again!

This was a wonderful place to stay, I only wish I had gotten to spend more time at the cabin (we had a busy weekend scheduled). It was cozy and clean and there was an orchard on the property with a bakery with delicious donuts.

This cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and private. The view from the deck was breathtaking. Tom the owner made sure we had everything we needed. We fell in love with the cabin as soon as we walked into the door. We will definitely be going back to this amazing getaway.

Just a little slice of heaven
Oh my goodness, this beautiful cabin is tucked away back in the woods. You wake in the morning to lush scenery, roosters in the distance. So well appointed. Extremely comfortable. I felt like I was home. Tom B. is a gracious host. The Brauetigam's orchards are fantastic. You can go peach picking all day long. I highly recommend and family, couple, etc., stay here in this beautiful secret garden.

Absolutely Adorable!
We loved this place! We had 3 adults and 2 teenagers. With more than enough room. We even had 4 additional friends stop over one evening for a visit and still had enough space. The place was off the beaten path which was nice after a long day. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The pictures do not do it justice. It was so calm and peaceful. The boys enjoyed fishing and finding golf balls in the woods. The orchard was wonderful. We were able to get fresh fruit, donuts, cider and my favorite we could feed the goats! 100% would stay again!! Thank you for everything Tom!

Perfect getaway
Our family had an amazing time at this cabin at Braeutigam Orchards. The cabin was very clean and in a quiet location overlooking a pond. Everyone was extremely courteous during our check in. The highlight was doing a tour of the farm and orchard with the owner Tom. It was amazing hearing the history of the area and how they keep the orchards running. Also, don’t forget to get some apple cider donuts along with fresh fruit and vegetables in the marketplace. The white peaches were my wife’s favorite. We will definitely book this location again.
