"House was very nice, with excellent views. The lake was beautiful and teaming with fish and geese. Hardwood floors were a bit dirty on the main floor, but everything else was clean. Owner was very responsive when contacted, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. I think it was the best house on the lake! We are looking at our calendars right now wanting to go back!"

"The property was perfect for our short weekend stay. The view lived up to the previous reviews. It snowed during our stay which added to the beauty. The cabin and the process of confirming it was easy and convenient. The cabin had the basic kitchen needs and also some games to play with the kids. If I had to suggest anything it would be to add directions for the fire place remote. It was not pairing with the fireplace, but someone from the main office came over quickly to fix it. It worked out...

"Amazing property! The cabin is very cozy and homey, utilitarian in the best ways and has everything you would need to feel comfortable. A great getaway for couples who enjoy camping but would like to upgrade from a tent to a warm cabin for special occasions and more luxury. "Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it."

"Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!"
