"We had 4 couples and 4 kids, and booked almost 2 years in advance for the eclipse. The Rusty Rio is quaint and what it appears to be....a fun and "campy" spot. The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years. The grounds with its many bird feeders and wildflower gardens provided a rich experience. We saw about 40 species of birds on the cabin grounds and a total of 81 species including the surrounding areas! Driving on farm roads carpeted in wildflowers was a delightful plus. Highly recommended for anyone - nature lovers or birders especially! A real paradise!!"

The grounds with its many bird feeders and wildflower gardens provided a rich experience.
