"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

"Perfect getaway weekend in January! We enjoyed the house and all the amenities it has to offer. A very clean and charming home located in a gated community. Perfect for 2-3 couples (as long as one of them doesn't mind the twin bed with the trundle). It is about 30 minutes from Montage Ski Resort and Camelback. We are looking forward to booking again soon!"

"We were working remotely so we decided to get a change of scenery. I loved looking out the window & watching the water in the creek slowly go by. And it was so nice to sit on the deck for work calls. The internet was very reliable for a family of 4 using multiple devices. My kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline at the house and playing pickle ball at the community center. We loved the food we got from the snack bar at the community center – very healthy and tasty. Everyone was very nice...

"Mark, the property owner is very nice, and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The property is not really big, but the house is very clean and comfortable. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group, and we were comfortable in the cabin. We would consider staying there again if we go back to the Poconos for vacation."

"We met up with college friends & their daughter, along with our four children, and had a great weekend visit at this house. The path to the dock and fire pit were cozy and fun and the kids spent all day kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. The community clubhouse and pool were nice but be aware that security is tight—you must be wearing those wristbands or they will ask you to leave. Overall, a lovely spot to relax and catch up."

The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. "My friends and I stayed at Ivans house and it was exactly as described in the listing. Each room had a full pull out bed and sheets for each. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great features. The house is right on a highway but we hardly noticed and this didnt effect our experience. Id recommend this house for anyone who just wants a great property to relax at and not need to leave for a long weekend."

"This was a great getaway for our family. It had something for everyone: double bunk beds and lots of games for the kids, a kitchen with all the amenities for the adults and 360 degrees of beautiful nature all around. Our only complaint is that the property manager didn't get back to us about a question until the day before we left. At that point he happened to mention that we shouldn't use the fireplace. That would have been good to know going into the trip. Otherwise, a great time was had."
