Poor overall stay

Posted Mar 2, 2015
We reserved the room with one credit card, but presented a different card upon arrival. At checkout, the clerk asked if we wanted to pay with the room on the card we presented. We replied, yes. However, the room was billed to the original reserving card. The pool was cold. The hot tub was tepid at best. The internet barely worked. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was miniscule. Not what I have come to expect from Best Western motels.

Excellent complimentary breakfast

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: complimentary breakfast
Cons: as mentioned above
Location: Just a one night stay
Disappointed with poolside room. Had hoped to sit by the pool and enjoy adult conversations. It was so noisy we were forced to remain in our room in order to hear each other. There was obviously a childrens pool party complete with birthday cake and very little adult supervision. We were unable to use the hot tub since there were always 8 - 10 children...with no adults....in it at all times. In addition, at checkin, I was asked to sign a paper that said I would not be having a pool party! The front desk woman was unkept and had severe body odor.

Don't stay here

Posted Feb 3, 2015
This hotel needs an overhaul! The rooms are digusting and dirty. The pool and hot tub are not maintained and everything is dated and dirty. The hotel staff is nice but there must not be enough help to fulfill guests request...like extra coffee or shampoo. We stayed here because we were in town for a funeral and another family member chose this hotel for the price. I would spend extra money to stay somewhere clean and with adequate staff.

Musky...

Staff was inexperienced... Nice but no clue how to use their systems. Room was musty... Almost moldy smelling. Buford's (attached restaurant) had horrible service, waitress was slow and rude.

Out back

Pros: Ate at the hotel twice. BBQ place and Sunday brunch. Both were good.
Cons: Unfortunately, on line it said they were fully booked, so some family stayed at another hotel(not as nice). There were many rooms available, so call.
We stayed in the strip of rooms behind the hotel. It was two rooms open to each other with a cabin feel. It was a great meeting space for the family to hang out.

One night stay

Pros: looks like they are in the process of remodeling - so far looks nice, I liked my bathroom.
Cons: More customer service oriented attitude. a mini fridge in the room would be nice.
Location: Edge of town, I wouldn't venture around without knowing where you are going. Buford's attached to the restaurant was convenient and has good food.
My stay was fine, nothing exceptional, but not uncomfortable. The woman at the front desk was friendly. The other two men I encountered were not outwardly rude but I felt like they thought I was bothering them. The hotel information in the room stated where the vending machines were and then had a separate statement that bottled water was available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I was unsure what that meant so asked at the front desk and was told to use the vending machines. I said I didn't have any cash and did they have an ATM and they directed me to a convenience store down the street. I also asked if I could be put on the second floor as I was travelling alone and don't like to be on the ground floor with window access but they were unable to accomodate. The safe in the room also didn't work. When I checked out, the man at the desk did not ask if I enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Great sunrise breakfast that is included in price.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room. This room just was not very clean, especially the mold on the bathtub.
Location: We were there for Cross Country Nationals NJCAA.
This hotel was okay, but needed some deep cleaning done. We came in for the Cross Country Nationals and had car trouble so by the time we arrived we were too tired to complain too much, but I am not sure I would stay in this hotel again. The room just was not very clean. There were cobwebs in the corners, mold in the bathtub, a missing light bulb in the bathroom, very dirty carpet, and you could run your fingers through the dust on the TV stand. I am in the motel business so I am critical, but these are things that should have been looked for and done prior another guest staying. Simple cleaning and attention to detail was needed in this room.

This would be a place I would stay at again!

Pros: Room was clean and BIG
Location: There are too many thinmgs to mention. Read the info in the rooms. There is PLENTY of things to do while in town.
The room we were in was great. We got a free room up-grade to a suite that was just fantastic. We felt like we were in a log cabin. It had the biggest walk in closet I have ever seen in a motel.
