The hosts have done an excellent job of preserving the charm of the cabin, while updating it to be very comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful with views of the mountains, trees all around, wildlife in abundance, all while providing a very private quiet stay. "Beautiful, quiet location in the forest. Good place to relax and enjoy some down time. Nice enclosed porch or Florida room. Walking and hiking available. The cabin was comfortable and provided what we needed for our stay. Good communication with owner who was very responsive to our needs."

"We loved the home. It is small but has everything you need. Everything was clean and if you forgot something, chances are they had it there. Beds were comfortable. The deck and dock were very nice with plenty of furniture to use if wanted. We would definitely return!"

"We were attending a wedding nearby and wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Farmview cottage was perfect! The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed for a short stay. We wished we could've explored the Zen Barn but it was occupied by a group. Some of the cats on the property gave us a tour of the other neat spots like the boat with the sitting area on top and the sauna. All in all, a great experience!"

"This location is off a dirt road off another dirt road - - it's rural, which improved our quality of star gazing! Also, the fire pit was lovely. Be sure to get extra wood from the host. This is not the Ritz-Carlton but it's a great place to stay if you are heading into Shenandoah Park via the Spotswood Trail, Route 33. We enjoyed our visit here."
