"This is such a great getaway location. Its quiet, cozy, and beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful and brought us extra wood for the firepit. The pond still has fish in it, we caught a few bass and didnt even spend much time fishing. Can't wait to come back."

And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. "The house was great. Although the steps to the upstairs bedroom were a bit steep (I need to lose some weight and get a new knee! LOL). We had plenty of room and the dogs loved their sniffy walks in the woods. Tons of parking! Sad that this was a working trip and we didn’t have much time to spend relaxing at the cabin. Close to grocery and restaurants. Great communication with the host. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs comfortable space!"

"What a beautiful & peaceful place to spend the 40th bday weekend for our youngest sister! There were 7 of us so every space was used from walking the 5 acre property of fields and forests with the dogs, hanging out on the back deck after dinner, running our zanny and active murder mystery in the large downstairs family room to hot tubbing at night. Rachel and Wesley were responsive hosts prior and during our stay. Plenty of towels, dishes, utensils, condiments and cookware for our large family...

"Very nice cabin with well-equipped kitchen. A few other cabins in the vicinity and a convenience store nearby. Other than that, nature. We enjoyed hiking, the hot tub, and the whirlpool bath. There is no WiFi but a collection of DVDs and even VHS, but we didn’t get around to watching any. Lots of games as well."

"The property was a lovely A-Frame building with room for extra guests or children upstairs. Each bedroom had their own bathrooms and the large deck overlooking the mighty Ohio River was fascinating to watch the large barges going past day & night. There is a large front yard for the children to run around. However, it is a rural location on the water, so bring your groceries a head of time."
