Decent rooms in average location

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Comfortable and quiet considering the road it is located on
Cons: Really just location
Location: Franklin and Marshall College, Spooky Nook Sports
The hotel was somewhat drab from the outside, however the inside was pleasantly surprising. Flat screen TV in my room (108) with a King bed at an affordable price.

scary too many street people

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: that it had a refrigerator and a micro.
Cons: new towels
Location: outlet are close, the Amish house, and an amusement park.
The towels were so nasty it looks like they don't use detergent to wash them. The whole room smell bad.

Typical 2 star hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2014
It was what you'd expect for the price. Room was clean overall but not fresh. No one was there for check out just a bucket to drop your key in which was concerning as anyone could take a room key if they wished.

Pool Tournament Weekend

Posted Jun 26, 2014
My family had to go to Lancaster for a pool tournament at the Lancaster Host. having stayed at the host before It is sad to say, that with them costing double a night what this hotel cost , the host is not as nice staff sucks, isnt maintained well enough for the price. The Americas Best we stayed at suprised us. Price was great. Not all staff can speak english, but is clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable and it was like staying at a four star hotel with exepction of no breakfast and crappy coffee and only one coff.Pot that is in the office. Put some flowers around and shampoo the carpets and get a kerig or expresso mach. And a mini coffee pot for each room...serve donuts or pastries and u have it made it would be perfect and would boost profit... Will stay here next June as well!

Good value

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Location: Very close to Park City Mall and a childrens park was just up the road
We could tell that they have done recent upgrades so for a Value Motel it was nice. It was a bit out of the way for the things we were doing but it was close to Rt. 30 and a quiet area so we did not mind the extra 15 minute drive to the theater and outlet malls. Had we been going to the big Park City shopping mall it would have been very convenient but that was not our reason for this visit.

Location: Amish Experience and Hershey Park are just around the corner.
Had some trouble with the Wifi at first but they were very courteous helping me . The room was fairly good for the price, no breakfast, coffee only, the Pizza place down the street Rosa & Rosa has great brick oven pizza.

A real surprise

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Nice room, clean, modern. Alot of TV channels to choose from
Cons: The door lock was really beaten up and didn't work very well from the outside. I had to try about 5 times to get the key in the lock to open the door
Location: It is near Franklin and Marshall University, Wheatland, and downtown Lancaster.
This motel was a real surprise. I booked it because it was one of the only motels/hotels with availability over a holiday weekend. From the outside, the place looked really run down and beat up. It's in a bad part of town with busy truck traffic. When I got to the room, however, it was very different. The room was spacious and done over in modern colors and patterns. Everything worked and it looked really nice. There were a great number of TV channels to choose from, a clean refrigerator, a microwave (plugged in so it told the correct time) and a clock radio (ditto about the time). The bathroom was clean, adequate size, and looked like it had recently been redone. I was very surprised how nice the inside of the rooms were compared to the outside appearance, and being that I didn't really care about the outside, it served me very well.

Not a solid choice

Posted Apr 1, 2014
The bed sheets had holes in them from the comforter all the way through the bed. The towels were dirty. Someone from the staff not only woke me up but argued with me that it was time to check out when it was 9:45 oppose to 11. Literally had to get my phone and show him the time for him to leave me be.
