"We were coming from NC and were meeting family here to stay with to attend my aunt Funeral . Cabin is very cozy , very clean and well kept . We really did not stay in the cabin long . I wish we could have been able to stay there for a more getaway trip . It would be a perfect cabin to stay . The fire pit was nice. We brought some wood to use one night we were there . Cabin is very well insulated so it stayed nice and warm inside ."

"A nostalgic cabin in the woods. It has all the conveniences needed for comfort. Doans Bones BBQ is practically across the street and has excellent BBQ! Wish we had more time to explore the area, but only stayed here to attend a few events at Penn State, which was about a 20 min drive. The owners were very responsive to any questions we texted. It is an old cabin, so it comes with some rough aspects. The bathroom was nicely updated and clean, the beds were comfortable and the overall layout was...

"The kids absolutely loved staying at the ranch and seeing all the animals. Walter stopped by our cabin multiple times a day and the kids always talked to him. Cant wait to come back with the baby when he is a little older and can enjoy and play with the animals like his older siblings"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter for family weekend at Juniata College. My daughter also stayed over one night. Extremely clean and well equipped house, beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we visit her. Only slight thing to be aware of is it's a pretty long gravel road to get to the house so be aware if that's an issue for your car (it was fine for us)."

The landscaping of the property was pristine. And very close access to the James Creek boat launch eas perfect! 10/10, would stay here again!"
