"This cabin was AMAZING! The location was perfect. It is located in the woods, yet not far from town. The beds were so comfortable. We loved having a fire every night in the cabin. Enjoyed the smores and hotdogs on the outside fire. It was myself, wife, 2 kids (10 and 7) and my mother-in-law. Great amount of space for us all. Our kids enjoyed playing outside and exploring the area. They really liked the hammock. Try the new Italian restaurant down the road, Romas, delicious!"

"We enjoyed the weekend at the house very much. We had a boat so we were able to launch at a public boat ramp and spend part of Saturday on the lake. The house is secluded and private - care taker was a available and helpful by text message. Lots of inside and outside spaces for friends to gather and there’s a nice big kitchen for family meals. We would stay again since it’s also close to DFW."

"Everything was GREAT! Exactly how it was advertised. My group had a lot of fun staying here. I would definitely consider booking again in the future. My only complaint was that the hot tub took 24+ hours to reach its set temperature, and even then did not feel like it was to temp."

"The Cheerful Two Bedroom was an ideal location for us. We were doing a week-end barnhunt trial at the nearby Myers Event Center and were looking forward to staying at the pet friendly home with a fenced yard for the two pups. The house itself was excellent although all of the doors could use a bit of WD40. Our only disappointment was the backyard which was unkempt and full of large weeds and dog poop from previous visitors. A scoop was provided for the dog poop, but there was no receptacle to...

"Tremendous value for the price. I work for a non-profit ministry, so I'm always looking for clean, safe, comfortable, quiet locations at a reasonably low price in a location with quick access to major highways. This LaQuinta checks ALL my boxes, and I will definitely reserve there again when I'm back. Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff; good breakfast set-up (the friendly young man who runs that works very hard); the rooms are very well insulated from noise; high-speed internet really is high speed. Here's a helpful tip for driving to this location: If you're on I-75 South and your GPS tells you to take Exit 6 for the hotel, don't do it! That puts you in a bad situation of needing to make a quick right turn into the hotel with traffic zipping up in your right-hand blind spot. Take the earlier exit, Exit 7, which will bring you right to the hotel entrance with MUCH less stress. "
