Location: Nothing
This is a terrible hotel. I have stayed in hostels in South American that were better. No television service. Room was not clean. Hotel check in person (over night) was rude and sleeping when I arrived. Super Ghetto, don't go. Spend the extra $20 a night and go somewhere else.

Pros: personnel was polite and helpful.
Cons: tv suppose to have more than one channel with football and ads.
Location: You can't stay there longer than one night so what is around doesn't matter.
TV had 1channel only. Breakfast was poor. Econo Lodge used to be a good motel, what had happened?

Pros: That I moved on.
Cons: Upkeep definitely- the outside is unkept, lobby is dark-
Location: Location is along frontage road- similar hotels close by, slightly sketchy neighborhood. Frontage road leads to mall, restaurants, close to downtown.
Truthfully, I cancelled my stay when checking in. Why? Well, the receptionist was on the phone requesting police assistance with break-ins of rooms/ cars. Upset people in the lobby. Motel is rundown, outside doors- while directly neighboring motels are in similar (or worse) condition, there are inexpensive, safer, nicer motels within a very short distance. Better safe than sorry!

Pros: price
Cons: repairs should be made should try to please customers a lot more
Location: the only thing nearby was a wal mart for shopping and a waffle house for a decent breakfast
was told they did not honor senior citizen discounts, toilet chain for bulb in tank broken and pieced together with a christmas bulb hook was told we could not get extra pillows as all their pillows were new light fixture between beds was broken check in clerk was very snippy should not be working in any customer service position advertisement stated they served breakfast but only had frosted flakes muffins and raisin bran advertisement showed a pool but there was no pool

When entered the room, TV is on and there is no remote control and the off switch in TV is not working. Continental breakfast- after seeing what they provided, we have to redefine continental breakfast name. Horrible!!!

Good Price for Accomodations

Pros: It was easy to get to, staff pleasant and helpful, and it was clean.
Cons: As hotels age, they all need new furnishings--this one is not really in need at this time, but getting close. I was pleased with our stay.
Location: Good enough location, but we did not stay for things to do--It was just overnight on a long trip. Plenty of restaurants close by.
When traveling and just need a cheap overnight, I like Econolodge. They are clean and adequate. It's a bargain for a quick overnight. I would recommend it if you do not want to spend a fortune.

Pros: Price...but not worth it in the long run.
Cons: SMELL!!!
Location: Run down area.
Very old and worn d├ęcor. Bedding had cigarette burn holes in it. Chair so stained I would put my bag on let alone sit on it. The smell was atrocious. Had to move cabinet with TV on it down so we could move the micro/fridge cabinet to reach the only outlet. TV would not work...had to have someone come fix it so it would get channels. All in all this was a very bad stay to the point if I had had another option at the time I would have requested a refund and left.

Not impressed

The motel was nasty to say the least. I was really afraid for my kids to walk barefoot on the floor -- there were stains all over the floor. Also, when we reserved the room, we told them it was supposed to be 4 people in the room. But when it came time for a shower-- there were only 3 towels and the towels were not clean. We called the operator to let them know that the towels were dirty and they told us the towels only had stains on it -- like that was supposed to make things better. They told us they would have to find more towels. They did call us back in a few minutes with our towels. It looks like they need to really consider renovating this motel. The door in the bathroom, looked as if termites or a dog chewed on the door. There were cracks all over the walls...where maybe the foundation is shifting. The beds were very hard and my son kept complaining that it felt like there was a spring poking him in the back. Also, behind the motel in the parking lot, there was a mattress propped up on the wall, instead of in the dumpster. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The only thing good about our time there, was that the attendant was very nice, personable and her customer skills were great. She also suggested a good restaurant for breakfast.

Bad Service

Easy to get to. Staff upon arrival was rude. We were locked out of our room twice. First time they said it was fixed, maintenance man very nice. Upon return from dinner we were locked out again, had to wait 30 minutes for maintenance man. Manager never showed up and we recieved no compensation for our trouble.
