We were scheduled to stay at Hollywood casino July 22-24, 2024. When I pulled back the sheets to get ready for bed there were several spots of bright red blood, the biggest of which was the size of a penny.
I called the front desk and she said to take a picture and find to the front desk to see the manager. I went to the front desk. The registrar took my phone to the back room and returned telling me they would put us in a different room and would refund that night’s stay.
I questioned her as to how the made could be made up with this very obvious stain? She said, “It could have been from a contractor or any number of people.” She didn’t seem to have much concern and I never did see a manager.
In the new room we had problems with the air conditioner and could not get the room cool. We could not get the satellite on the TV to work. When we were finally able to rent a movie, it would go off every 15 minutes or so and take about an hour to come back on.
The next morning we decided to go to a different hotel. We were refunded the second night as well, but the overall lack of concern over the bloody sheets was very disturbing. We will not be returning to this hotel.
