The pool is in need of some serious attention. The pictures online are false advertising. You could not see the bottom of the pool due to the murky water and several parts of the pool were broken. There was even a pool light that was pulled out and resting on the concrete with exposed electrical going into the pool. I feel like an inspector would fail this pool due to its unsafe condition. They seemed understaffed when we first checked in. One lady seemed to be handling everything. The back entrance smelled like body odor. The breakfast was the best part of our stay. Could not see myself staying here more than one night. We normally consider Hyatt hotels the nice hotels but this one wasn’t at the same level as others we have stayed at.

Staff states the issue with the cleanliness of the pool is an ongoing issue. They stated they did not know the shower at the pool is not working properly. The first rule on the pool posted rules is to shower before entering the pool. The pool has so much sand in it. The cloudy murky water is unsafe. The hotel was nice, staff was friendly, breakfast was nice. Room was clean.

The bathroom mirror light didn't work at all, we had no hand soap the floor in the bathroom was sticky. There was no microwave. No pillows and blanket for the fold out sofa (had to go down and ask front desk) the pool was dirty, the hot tub had suds of some sort in it two days. The blind was torn, the lamp on the side of the bed wobbled that was affixed to the wall, the TV channels went in and out due to the storms and there was no option to log-in and stream subscribed apps.

Rooms were not cleaned daily and trash cans were not emptied daily and fresh towels were not provided on a daily basis. Fresh coffee cups were never provided. Chrome on lamps, light fixtures and shower rack showed extreme signs of corrosion. Shower needed to run for 5 minutes or more before hot water began to flow.

I really liked this property! It was close to both the casinos and the beach; the staff was wonderful; property clean; and the breakfast was great! The only thing I didn't like was that the pool was small and dirty. I later found out that the pool was murky because it is actually a salt water pool, but still, I don't think it should be murky to the point that you can't even see the bottom of the pool and there were tons of swimming, black bugs that bit you while in the water. If you can deal with not having a pool, definitely stay here!

We vooked through Expedia, and did not get the room we booked. Front desk said that Expedia tends to false advertise. They were booked so they couldnt give us the room we thought we booked. Room was very small for $259 -$274 night. Bed was not comfortable at all, like a think mattress on a board. Room was cool and water pressure was good. Room was clean and staff was extremely nice. But we were here for our 26th anniversary and we wanted a Gulf view which we booked through Expedia and the comfort level was below par. Desk staff had little knowledge of area and nothing as far as a guide for out of towners. Would not stay there again.
