Apache Motel

No coffee in the room and you can hear EVERYTHING, and I mean, EVERYTHING through the walls. They advertise that John Wayne stayed there and the place obviously hasn't changed a bit since then - down to the furniture and blankets. The bathroom and sheets were acceptably clean, but the blankets looked ancient and hadn't been washed recently. There was more than one hole in the wall. The water was either blistering hot or arctic cold and it was near impossible to get a temperature in between. The room smelled horrible - like a cross between cheap air freshener and ancient stale cigarette smoke. The woman who checked me in seemed quite out of it - kept complaining of being confused or tired or something - but it was like 4 pm. I had to drive through a very narrow alley to park and could not park close to the room. They said there would be pancakes for breakfast between 7 and 9 am. I went to get breakfast at around 7:30 and there were no pancakes - nothing but cereal and microscopic cups of coffee. Really the only thing good about the place was the price - but there are numerous other similarly priced places in Moab that are exponentially better.

Rooms were large and clean with a comfortable bed. Would definately recommend (cant beat it for the money).

Based on the cost, Apache is an amazing motel. Staff s great and helpful for my late arrival. Location is nice to be off the beaten path. Towels were soft which we hadn't expected for the price. And shower was hot and worked well.

I stayed one night at the Apache hotel and had a pleasant experience. This is not a high-end hotel by any means by the staff is great, the hotel room was clean, and it was just what I expected/needed. I even ended up needing to change the room type from 1 king to 2 queens and they had no problem with doing that for me. The do have a free very basic continental breakfast with cereal, pancakes, and strudels. If you're cheap like me and don't mind a simple breakfast, it was sufficient. Plus, since they have a microwave and fridge in every room, you could bring your own food to cook/eat without having to eat out. For the price, this is a great basic place to stay for a night or two.

The hotel was charming and quiet. Not fancy but met our needs.

room was clean and had the usual amenities like refridg erator and microwave. Bed was very comfortable, have stayed in much fancier motels that had rock hard beds. Convienient to downtown shops and restaurants.

Stayed for two days. Staff was very friendly and willing to help.
