"It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!! "The outdoor space on this property is stunning. There is a lot of outdoor space to entertain and the views are so pretty. Would be amazing for a summer party. The inside was very musty when we first got there and we had to go out and get candles to chase away the smell. "Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go.
