not was what expectedPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice owners, but not well maintained (broken lights, not enough towels, windows on 2nd floor not locked..so it was dangerous for kids). Got there at night; airconditioning was not turned on, so it was 100 degrees in the room...Not recommended.

i WOULD HAVE RATHER SLEPT IN MY CARPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: when we drove out of the driveway
The free breakfest that we paid for was not available. The TV didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work. The bathroom fan didn't work. They left 2 tiny SKIMPY towels for 2 people to use. The comforters were filthy. YUKY YUKY YUKY.

It's falling apartPosted Jun 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
This building is going down due to very low quality of service and cleanliness in each room. They said its smoke free rooms but that's the first thing you'll notice when you open the door and how can the guy tell it doesn't smell if he himself is a smoker.

Overpriced for the quailty (or lack thereof) and we were given a hard time by the owner. I wouldn't go again, but it's a fine enough place if you're on a budget and in desperate need of a room. The good location is a positive... and about the only one.

Hospitable ProprietorsPosted Sep 17, 2008
The hotel was more like a motel which was a bit disappointing, the the proprietors were very helpful and friendly and made me feel welcome.

Not ImpressedPosted Aug 22, 2008
I guess for the price, it's OK. But the "continental breakfast" was a joke (PB&J with coffee), no internet access (despite its advertisement), and we had to ask for room cleaning. Fairly close to Niagara Falls, but I wouldn't book there again!!

you get what you pay forPosted Jul 23, 2008
"Continental breakfast" was a box of Cheerios and store-bought cookies. Internet only worked in the lobby. We had to request towels (for the shower). The hotel was not full, yet we were placed in a room next to a (big and loud) family. Window opened, but there was no screen. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is o.k.

dirty and smokeyPosted Jul 12, 2008
Staff was friendly enough, but the room was not like picture. It was smaller and was suppose to be non-smoking.. Room smelled of smoke and cigarette burns on furniture. Jacuzzi did not have much power at all. Price was ridiculous for what it was. Would not recommend to stay there. Overpriced and dirty!!!

alright for a one night stayPosted Sep 14, 2007 on Hotels.com
The first person to greet us was quite rude, but the lady who took over was lovely and agreed to look after our luggage until we could properly check-in after 2pm (which let us go to the falls and have a look around). The room was basic and a bit dated but was clean and comfortable although the walls are extemely thin, to the point of being able to hear conversations next door. The walk to the falls doesnt take too long but its far enough away from the buzz.

Please stay away from this hotel!!Posted Aug 17, 2006
After a 10 hour drive a terrible hotel .The room was extremely dirty, bathroom filthy, sheets dirty with hair on them.Stated non smoking but room drenched in cigarette odor and ashtray in room.My husband and I spent 15 minutes cleaning and wiping down room.Everything covered in dust, only one towel, there was three of us.Asked owner for extra towels and commented how many do you need. Stayed 2 nights didn't even clean out our room second day, asked if we could throw out our own garbage.Taking time out to warn people of this hotel, plenty of other hotels out there.Air conditioner did work, never again would stay there under any circumstances.
