Nobody had phoned or emailed to give us notice when we could’ve had some time to find another hotel And there was no compensation offered other than a full refund for a very big inconvenience. We ended up having to stay, the room was clean and nice, but not being able to shower after having a long drive was not nice. We did go use the pool, and it was warm, luckily. The sauna was working but needs a glam up, the hot tub is out of service and has plant in it, which was strange. The breakfast area was freezing cold, there was no heat in that room and the employee was working in a winter coat, breakfast was ok, nothing too exciting, and no gluten free options (which i wasn't surprised). So glad we were only staying overnight.
