"We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!"

"We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!"

"This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again."

"Weekend stay ,excellent property ,quaint town with friendly people .our dog loved the water .the only negative is that the direction link we were given was inaccurate which added an additional 2 hours to our trip .otherwise it was perfect ,we would certainly go again ."

"This cabin is perfect for a family getaway right on the river in a very nice campground. The cabin was clean with all modern amenities yet rustic enough for our group with kids and pets. From the description we thought there was more sleeping space then there was but we took an air mattress and there was plenty of room. The owner and campground staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. We are definitely looking forward to another trip back to this cabin!"

"Super cute place to stay! Not a whole lot of close areas to visit besides the winery and The Assylum but well worth the visit! The host is a super nice guy!"

"Property renovated from old school house. Space is ideal for 2-4 adults or 2 adults and 4 teens and under. 2 sets of bunk beds are somewhat small for adults. Couch was comfy. nice fire pit to sit around. It was pet friendly with an additional charge. Window AC to keep place cool. The only negative I can think of is the floor was very creaky."

"Home is a few minutes down a gravel road in a camp ground. There is little to no traffic so you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Covered back porch to sit on if raining - home was clean and pictures were accurate with the photos shown for the listing. Less than 5 min walk to nearby river"

"Myself and two friends booked the Elk Cabin for a long weekend of trout fishing in the area. We were blown away by how nice the cabin was - extremely clean and comfortable. It's location right on Shaver's Run was outstanding. We spent a lot of time out on the huge deck that overlooks the river and used the flat-top grill several times. Highly recommend!"

"Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it."

"Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!"

"This property is beautiful. We had opportunity to rest and relax as well as room to prepare our contributions to the larger family Thanksgiving. Saturday saw us entertaining cousins for homemade soup and games. Mike (property owner). Graciously accepted our invitation and fit right in with the group…..definitely looking forward to going back!"
