The hostel was old and dirty. The elevators didn't always work. But the price was low, so you can't expect too much. The location was great. Walking distance to most of the Sydney attractions

Pros: Location
Cons: My stuff was taken out from the fridge on the 1st floor by someone without notice.
Location: China town
Nice location with cheap price. Our room with private bathroom/shower room was very convenient and difficult to find in other youth hostels.

RUDE BRUNETTE RECEPTIONIST WITH ATTITUDE PROBLEM

I would not stay here again. There is 1 lift servicing he whole building and there is no access to stairs from reception so you have to use it. Sometimes I waited up to 10 mins just for it to arrive, then it stops at every floor (I was on 11th floor) and same going back down. Very frustrating how popping to your room and back can take 20 mins. Also they only have 2 fridges for the whole place so storing food is very awkward and they are so full that the doors dont even close. To top things off there is a brunette working on reception who is unhelpful, sarcastic, and has no people skills whatsoever and an attitude problem so I left the place in a terrible mood aswell. Her awful attitude encouraged me to leave this review. The rest of the staff were lovely but I would definitely avoid because the waiting around for lifts is extremely frustrating and I cant believe this brunette lady is acually behind reception.

The lift in the place needs replacing ,the mattresses need replacing ,otherwise fair.
